85 Street Traffic Flip

EDMONTON, AB – October 4, 2019 – Starting on or around October 10, 2019, traffic on 85 Street from just north of 95 Avenue to just south of 95 Avenue will be shifted to the west side of the road.

This shift is to accommodate sidewalk and roadway removals happening on the east side of the road in advance of track bed installation. This work will continue until Spring 2020.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • North/southbound traffic will be shifted to the west side of 85 Street
  • One lane in each direction will be maintained.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time please watch for, and obey, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
