EDMONTON, AB – July 2, 2019 – Starting on or about July 11, 2019, crews will be pouring concrete overnight for one night only from 9:00 p.m.to 4:00 a.m. This work is to accommodate a pour for rail bed just south of 76 Avenue on 83 street. To accommodate this work the northbound traffic lane will be closed to all motorists. ETS buses will be allowed to pass with flaggers.
Motorists can use 81 Street as an alternative route during this time.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Overnight work on 83 Street just south of 76 Avenue.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
