83 Street Night Work – Argyll Road to 76 Avenue
June 1, 2020 – Starting on or about June 8, 2020 crews will be pouring concrete for track slab placements on 83 Street from Argyll Road to 76 Avenue. This work will take place overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and is expected to last for three nights. To accommodate this work, the northbound lane will be closed and traffic between Argyll Road and 76 Avenue.
There will be noise associated with this work such as concrete pump trucks backing up, as well as concrete pumping and small machinery moving. In order to not interrupt traffic during the day, crews will have to perform this work during night hours.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Closure of the northbound lane on 83 Street from Argyll Road to 76 Avenue.
- There will be overnight noise associated with this work primarily back up beepers, and concrete pumping.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
- Flaggers will be on hand to assist traffic.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
