83 Street Night Paving

EDMONTON, AB – August 24, 2018 – Starting on about August 27, 2018, crews will begin paving the road on 83 Street between 76 Avenue and 82 Avenue.

This work will take place overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) and will last for approximately one-week total. This work is progressive and work will only last for one or two days maximum in each area.  

To accommodate this work the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • 83 Street between 76 Avenue and 82 Avenue will be paved overnight.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained in all intersections not being paved that night and all pedestrian access will be maintained during the day.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
