83 Street Minor Traffic Delays
EDMONTON, AB – July 20, 2018 – Starting on or around the morning of July 27, 2018, there will be traffic delays along 83 Street as crews transport a utilities building. The load will be moving slowly and will be stopping at 76 Avenue and 69 A Avenue.
This transport will occur in the morning between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Once it is complete, normal traffic flow will resume.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Slow moving traffic along 83 Street, especially around 76 Avenue and 69 A Avenue.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Alternate Routes:
- To avoid any potential delays, motorists can use 85 Street as an alternate route.
Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel. We appreciate your patience as we build the Valley Line LRT.
