83 Street and 82 Avenue Lane Shift

UPDATE: This work has been postponed to May 10, 2019

EDMONTON, AB – April 24, 2019 – Starting on or about May 1, 2019, the median on 82 Avenue west of 83 Street will be removed and TransEd crews will be paving over the area. Traffic will move to the south side of 82 Avenue to allow construction activities on the north side of the road.

This configuration will last until winter 2019.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • No parking at the corner of 82 Avenue and 83 Street.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
