83 Street Access Closure

EDMONTON, AB – June 28, 2019 – Starting on or about July 2, 2019, the access at 77 Avenue and 78 Avenue on the east side of 83 Street will be temporarily closed. This closure is to allow crews to perform an inspection of the underground pipes.

This closure will last for approximately two days.

Motorists can use 81 Street as an alternative route during this time.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Closure of the access at 77 Avenue and 78 Avenue on the east side of 83 Street.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic disruptions will vary by location. During this time please watch for, and observe, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
