83 St Night Work – Concrete Pour
April 13, 2020 – Starting on or about April 20 and 21, 2020 crews will be pouring concrete and constructing track on 83 Street north of 76 Avenue. This work will take place overnight, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and is expected to last for two nights. To accommodate this work, 83 Street will be closed to northbound traffic between 76 Avenue and 82 Avenue.
There will be noise associated with this work such as concrete pump trucks backing up, as well as concrete pumping and small machinery moving.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
- Closure of the northbound lane on 83 Street from 76 Avenue to 82 Avenue.
- Motorists can use 81 Street as an alternate route.
- There will be overnight noise associated with this work
- Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
