82 Avenue and 83 Street Intersection Reduction

EDMONTON, AB – June 8, 2018 – Starting on the evening of June 15, 2018, there will be lane changes at the 82 Avenue and 83 Street intersection where TransEd crews will be installing temporary signals at that location.

To accommodate this work, traffic will be reduced to two lanes in each direction. Edmonton Police Service constables will be on site to direct traffic. This work will take place between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Once the signals are installed, these lane changes will remain in place until mid 2019.

To accommodate this work the public will be impacted in the following areas:

  • Traffic in all directions approaching the 82 Avenue and 83 Street intersection will be reduced to two lanes, directed by Edmonton Police Service constables.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.
