75 St North of Whitemud Drive – Lane Closures
EDMONTON, AB – November 17, 2016 – Work on the Valley Line LRT continues. During the summer of 2016, crews began median removal on 66 Street. This work is progressing along 75 Street, north of Whitemud Drive to Wagner Road. Lane closures will occur during non-peak/night hours (7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.). This work is scheduled to be completed by early December 2016.
Work will take place in the following areas:
- 75 Street from Whitemud Drive to Wagner Road
To accommodate this work, the public may be impacted in the following areas:
- Intermittent lane closures of the inside lanes, closest to the median.
- Please observe all construction signage and the directions of personnel in the area.
- TransEd is required to complete construction activities within the requirements of the City of Edmonton Noise Bylaw*. TransEd completes roadwork overnight to avoid major daytime traffic disruptions. TransEd has a permit in place that allows for this work to take place.
