66 Street Night Work

Noise, Notice

February 22, 2021 – Starting on or about March 1, 2021, crews will be performing finishing works, including glazing and roofing, at the Grey Nuns Stop on 66 Street north of 31 Avenue. This work will take place overnight from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. To accommodate this work, one of the northbound lanes on 66 Street just north of 31 Avenue will be closed and traffic will be detoured. This work is expected to last four nights.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• One of two northbound lanes on 66 Street just north of 31 Avenue will be closed for four nights.
• Northbound lane traffic will be detoured.
• There will be noise from hand tools.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
