66 St at 34 Ave – Lane Closure

EDMONTON, AB – November 16, 2016 – Starting on or about November 18, 2016, there will be minor lane closures to allow for temporary asphalt paving. Lane closures will occur during non-peak/night hours (7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.). This work is scheduled be completed by December 15, 2016.

Work will take place in the following areas:

  • 66 Street at 34 Avenue

To accommodate this work, the public may be impacted in the following areas:

  • Lane closures of the through and right turn lanes running east and west on 34 Avenue approaching 66 Street.
  • Pedestrian traffic will be maintained at all times, with the addition of an identified temporary walkway within close proximity to the existing sidewalk.
  • Please observe all construction signage and the directions of personnel in the area.
  • TransEd is required to complete construction activities within the requirements of the City of Edmonton Noise Bylaw*. TransEd completes roadwork overnight to avoid major daytime traffic disruptions. TransEd has a permit in place that allows for this work to take place.
