Strathearn Stop Finishing Works

Noise, Notice

September 06, 2021 – Starting on or about September 10, 2021, crews will be performing finishing works at the Strathearn Stop platform including patching and grinding of the platforms. This work will take place overnight, from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am, for a total of four nights.

For the first 2 nights (September 10 and 11), the eastbound lane of 95 Avenue between 87 and 89 Streets will be closed. For the next 2 nights (September 12 and 13), the westbound lane of 95 Avenue between 87 and 89 Streets will be closed.

To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• For the first two nights of this work, westbound traffic will be detoured at 87 Street to access alternate westbound routes. For the last two nights of this work, eastbound traffic will be detoured at 89 Street to access alternate eastbound routes.
• There will be noise from hand tools.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.

During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.

TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
