Avonmore Stop Finishing Works
July 20, 2021 – Starting on or about July 28, 2021, crews will be performing finishing works on the Avonmore Stop including concrete finishes. To accommodate this work, the southbound lane on 83 Street from 73 Avenue to 76 Avenue will be closed to motorists overnight (9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) for three consecutive nights.
To accommodate this work, the public will be impacted in the following areas:
• Southbound lane on 83 Street from 73 Avenue to 76 Avenue will be closed for three consecutive nights.
• Traffic will be detoured.
• There will be overnight noise from hand tools.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained.
During this time please watch for, and follow, all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
TransEd is committed to following all City of Edmonton bylaws and regulations and has obtained an overnight roadwork permit so that work can take place during nighttime hours in order to minimize major daytime traffic disruptions. *City of Edmonton Bylaw C14600.
