34 Avenue Overnight Road Closure

SECOND UPDATE:  This work has been rescheduled to the evenings of August 9 and 10.

UPDATE:  Northbound and Southbound traffic on 66 Street will remain open during this work.  Westbound traffic of 34 Avenue will also remain open.  Eastbound traffic on 34 Avenue will be closed.

EDMONTON, AB – August 2, 2019 – On August 7 and 8, the intersection at 34 Avenue and 66 Street will be temporarily closed during night hours (9 p.m.- 6 a.m.) to allow for movement of rail for the Valley Line LRT.  Pedestrian access will be maintained.

There will be some minor noise and flashing lights while this work is completed.

During this time please watch for and observe all traffic detours and direction of construction personnel.
